Keep Cinemas Alive

In times of Netflix, Amazone Prime and Apple TV, mostly young people tend to prefer one of those websites over a good old visit in the local cinema. As a result, our cinemas are slowly dying out. To prevent this, I created a fictional campaign.

Therefor, I choose to put my favourite movie-monologues in combination with stills out of this films on posters. This idea can be applied further to any  other filmmonologue.

I, for myself choose Trainspotting by Danny Boyle, The Addams Family by Barry Sonnenfeld and Dave Payne, and, last but not least, Control by Anton Corbijn.

One of the poster shows an empy movie-hall with empty seats combined with the words “Netflix won’t give you that feeling”.

To reinforce the feeling of a nearly died out culture, I choose to color the photo of the rows and the stills in black and white.
