For an elective subject, Social and Sustainable Design, at FH Joanneum, me and my colleagues had the task to draw attention to one of the UN-sustainable development goals in a creative way. We chose the 16th goal: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
From the moment we set our goal, we knew we wanted to go back to the origins of peace and justice. Accordingly, on Iustitia and Pax, the personifications of those virtues. And so we created a modern version of the ancient Roman personifications with their original attributes: A sword, a scale and a blindfold for Iustitia and olive branches for Pax.
Special Thanks to Lisa and Evi, our models!
